A night back to the 80's!
Hey everyone... sorry its been long time since my last blog post! i mean since i started my internship i don't have that extra free time i used to in college days! i miss blogging, Facebook-ing and TWEETING! now let me talk about some 80's! that night the opening of the art gallery Archive80 was one of the best nights not only for the amazing and extra classy and chic crowed i met like the artist Khawla Al Marri which is also the reason i drove from Al Ain to Dubai and was dying to see her work that night! Not to forget the blogger and fashionista Zubaida from ButterHotShoes who was rocking the vintage 80's Versace's!!
Mainly the gallery and event was all about us as locals and their 80's childhood memories! i mean those pictures and art pieces took me back to the 80's! just what i needed... i am really proud of everyone who participated in that event from organizers to the artists themselves!
The Archive80 was not only about paintings it was all about everything to do with the 80's like TV shows, fashion, Advertisement's and even the music was all about the 80's funk!

Andy Warhol!
Andrew Warhola (1928-1987) also known as Andy Warhol was an American painter , print maker and an “Avant-garde” filmmaker. Andy’s work is still available in the Andy Warhol museum in Pennsylvania , USA. The highest price ever paid for a Warhol piece of art is $100 million for the 1963 canvas called “Eight Elvises”. One of the famous series of Warhol’s work is the American products paintings like Campbell’s soup and Coca-Cola bottles beside the iconic Marilyn Monroe.
